The Shoppes On Little Creek Development welcomed three new tenants this summer into its flagship building at 1255 Creekshire Way. All offices are open for business.
Edward Jones, a financial investment group, whose headquarters is in Saint Louis, MO was the first of the three to sign a 7 year lease for 1135 square feet of executive office space. Their new office is located at 1255 Creekshire Way, Suite 210.
Community One Bank, a national baking association out of Charlotte, NC has signed a 5 year lease for 3988 square feet of executive office space in the developments flagship building at 1255 Creekshire Way. Their new loan production office is located on the second floor of the building in Suite 251.
BlueSky MD, a Lamond Properties company out of Asheville NC, signed a 5 year lease for 2783 square foot of retail space in the developments flagship building at 1287 Creekshire Way. (see article below)
The Lofts On Little Creek, Phase 2 Begins

Barry Siegal, with BSC Holdings, has purchased the 14.68 acre site behind the current Lofts At Little Creek in the Shoppes On Little Creek Lifestyle Development. The Lofts At Little Creek, a luxury apartment complex, will soon begin construction on Phase 2 of the complex. The Lofts Hillside at Little Creek will add an additional 88 high end apartments to complement the current 197 luxury apartments located at 1213 Creekshire Way. The sale was brokered by Ladd Freeman and Jay Luke of Freeman Commercial Real Estate.

Jay Luke, of Freeman Commercial Real Estate, brokered the land exchange with The Crown Companies that will bring a medical park to the new Hanestowne Village that fronts along Stratford Road. The exchange is the location for the new Lyndhurst OBGYN building that Jay is brokering for lease. The ground breaking ceremony took place on May 29, 2015 and construction is now underway. The building which is being built along Business I-40 contains 55,700 sf of which Jay Luke is leasing 18,000 sf on the second floor. It will be available for lease in the 2nd quarter of 2016.

A new walking trail (greenway) that should be completed by the end of this summer, is being constructed and will extend the access to retail, restaurants and business in the Shoppes On Little Creek Development. The new greenway will connect Creekshire Way, the main road in the development, to a housing area behind the development. It is a win, win for everyone. Shoppes On Little Creek has a lot to offer, with retail continuing to grow, and now it will be accessible for some without having to deal with the traffic on Hanes Mall Boulevard.
